Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

1. POLICY

Qualis Energy Limited is committed to driving out acts of modern-day slavery and human trafficking within its’ supply chains and working partners.

It is our approach to comply with all laws and regulations relevant to our business. Following the implementation of the Modern Slavery Act, Qualis Energy Limited is committed to maintaining and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our own business or in any of our supply chains.

2. DEFINITION

Modern slavery is criminal activity and a violation of human rights. The deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain is unacceptable. For these reasons, slavery and human trafficking is a matter of zero tolerance.

3. ZERO TOLERANCE APPROACH

All staff involved in the engagement of suppliers must communicate our zero-tolerance approach to all prospective parties at the outset of our business relationship and monitor our approach as appropriate thereafter. We may terminate our relationship with third parties engaged with us if they do not comply with this Policy Statement.

This Policy Statement applies to all members, employees, agents, consultants and those parties in our supply chain, wherever they operate. Any reported breach of this Policy will be investigated and may lead to disciplinary action which subsequently could result in employee dismissal.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Company Directors and Senior Management team shall take responsibility for implementing this Policy Statement and its’ objectives and shall provide adequate resources for training and investment to ensure that Slavery and Human Trafficking is not taking place in the organisation, the supply chain, or through its’ business partners.

We are committed to social and environmental responsibility and has zero tolerance, in line with the above statement, for Slavery and Human Trafficking. Transparency and accountability, remain paramount, in relation to all aspects of this Policy Statement.

​

A copy of this Policy Statement and a copy of the Modern Slavery Act will be accessible to all employees electronically and can be obtained from the HSEQ department upon request.

​

The Policy Statement will be reviewed and published annually.
