ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS (ESS)
The selection and integrated design of energy storage systems as part of a new installation requires careful consideration unless a detailed plan of existing energy useage is completed.
With retro fit solar PV systems, we also recommend that you collect 12 months data to fully understand how you utilise your generated solar energy, export rates and building usage.
We can install hybrid inverters which have the capacity to add ESS at a later date, if required.
ESS is not always the best option for our Clients, so we ensure we carry out a full assessment to ensure ESS is right.
A recent Client liked the idea of ESS because they had alot of energy use during the evenings.
We assessed the energy bills and half hourly data and found that they could export any excess solar energy to the grid during the day at £0.15 and had a night rate of £0.17.
So we advised that there is no commercial benefit to installing ESS.
However is your building usage is suitable, solar PV system is sized correctly and you add additional features such as EV charging, ESS is a perfect solution.

Air To Air Heat Pumps
Air-to-air heat pumps transfer energy from the outside air to your room, no matter what the temperature outside. The outdoor unit exchanges energy from the outdoor air. With the help of the refrigerant cycle, it releases the energy at a higher or lower temperature into your room through the indoor unit, depending on your heating or cooling needs.
Choose from a single unit or a multi unit setup.
Air Conditioning
Seen alot in warm countries but is a bit of a luxury in the UK for the 3 days of warmth we see. Summer are getting warmer but can you justify a system for a few weeks of the year?
Well now you don't have to! Air to air systems are basically an air conditioning unit which also provides a heating function. In fact we only install a 4 in 1 system which provides heating, air conditioning, dehumidification, and air purification. So not only will it keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, it will also reduce moisture build up, which leads to damp and will clean the air you breath, making for a healthier environment.

With the Government now identifying that onshore wind turbines have a place in the energy infrastructure and local energy generation, we now offer wind turbine consultancy, planning, installation and maintenance.
